Here is what is probably my last post before Christmas. It was a challenge fitting them in between various birthday celebrations but I was determined that I wouldn't fudge on detail, regardless of the looming deadline!

The brief was to illustrate from a selection of the best cheesiest Christmas music that has graced our airwaves through the decades. I chose The Carpenters and to recreate that 70s feel I took inspiration from 'Abigails Party'. Cheese and pineapple chunks with your Blue Nun anyone?

Helen also asked for an image of a girl with headphones and a Christmas jumper, so I thought I would bring my character back from the last post and have her singing along to a medley of Christmas hits.
Have a Happy Christmas everyone and though times are hard please take time to remember our elderly neighbours for whom Christmas is an especially difficult and lonely period. Invite them in for a drink or bring them a little treat. It's the little things that make a difference.
