The article is a review of The Cinematic Orchestra who celebrated independent record label, Ninja Tune's 20th birthday with a live performance at The Royal Albert Hall, 14 November, featuring the superb vocalist Heidi Vogel. Heidi has the most amazing hair and I wanted to highlight its pre raphaelite quality and capture an iconic feel to the illustration. The feedback from Heidi and her fans has been overwhelmingly flattering.
I loved working on this illustration of Cinematic Orchestra. It's my take on a promo of the band for their album ' Man with a movie camera', which I think adds an interesting dimension to the original concept.
